My name is Mary and I have been born again since I was about 13. Through the trials in my life, the Lord has taught me to not stray from his path and protection. I find myself at this point struggling with the way forward and yet Ps 46:10 says "Be still and know that I am God". It is difficult for me to know when the Lord wants me to stop doing and just wait for him to work or to start doing when I've been sitting still.
One of my favorite verses about faith that I draw on quite a bit is Proverbs 3:5-6

ReplyDeleteI have been saved since around 2000 give or take take a couple of years. I am from Houston. I have been in Huntsville for 8yrs after Marrying the man of my dreams. I enjoy working with kids. Mark and I have been coming to Uhbc for 8 yrs I help with the special needs once a month help in the preschhol department with the ones. I enjoyed when we had secert sisters and heart friends. One of my favorite Bible verses Psalm 91. Mark and I are involved in the Christian Motorcycle Assoc. I don't see so well at night so when I heard that Amber was going to set up a blogging Bible study on line I was so happy. Thank you Amber. Karen

ReplyDeleteI was saved when I was a child, I am from North Carolina and moved to Huntsville in 1997-98. I have had a very rocky relationship with God, but He never gave on me. He has set my feet on firm ground again and put me on the right path. I am currently going to uhbc and would like to become a member at the right time, the kiddos love it there and everyone is really nice. When I heard about this blog I thought it was just what I needed to work more on my relationship with God and to be able to do it when I can actually sit down for a little bit. I am currently going to school part time, work a full time job and have 3 kids so I stay pretty busy, wed. night I'm usually tied up with something so this is a real blessing for me. I look forward to the study and the opportunity to get to know everyone. Thanks for making this possible.
